The students were so excited to see the new headphones and timers. Both have been put to use multiple times. The pencils, while for some seem like a basic, for my students, they were excited there were pencils to share and allowed students to take a pencil with them in their own backpacks to use throughout the day. Many students have already benefitted with having snacks accessible over the day. Having snacks for students to choose from so they can stay in school and not be hungry is so important. And the reinforcement motivational stickers students have been excited to choose from the selection once they have reached individual goals and demonstrate growth with their learning.\r\n\r\nWhile this grant wasn't an innovated grant, it was one that allowed students to have their basic needs met, not to feel hunger throughout the day, and provided opportunities for students to regulate themselves more independently.
