The students were so excited to see the stretchy band! We have done activities where we listen to a song and do actions connected to the song such as moving our arms up and down while holding onto the band or passing the band around the circle or doing figure 8's. The kids' favorite activity was listening to the song \"Golden\" from K-Pop Demon Hunters and doing movements going along with the song. The best part was with the lyrics \"up, up, up\" The kids really got into it!\r\n\r\nWe also received teacher resources for handbells and boomwhackers. We have dabbled with them and the kids are so anxious to play actual songs. I can't wait to dive deeper into the curriculum.\r\n\r\nThank you again for contributing to our project. I want to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my homeschool program. Without your generosity our homeschool students would not receive a well-rounded art experience. For those not familiar with homeschooling, our students can elect to participate in our enrichment classes once a week throughout the school year. We have a very small budget, so Donors Choose is an excellent way we can supplement our classes with supplies. I am attaching some photos from our art show we had in May of 2025. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!\r\n\r\nI plan on expanding our classroom resources using Donors Choose throughout the 2025-2026 school year. Last year I focused on painting & printmaking resources, this year I plan to focus on drawing & ceramics resources.
