We received our materials right before our Fall break and all of us were ecstatic to receive items that will help us stay active -- both physically and mentally. As I opened each package, my students were happy to have materials that we can use weekly. \r\n\r\nAs we have now returned from fall break, my plan is to create fun lessons with our new materials. We will be able to learn through movement like kickball, kids yoga, and more. Students will be able to work together as a team and learn important attributes like reflection, empathy, team work, and encouragement. My students are using the pencil sharpener to sharpen all their pencils and colored pencils. The cushions are used on the carpet, reading nook, and library in which students use them to read stories to themselves. The pencil pouches are used to hold all their materials, and the paper is used for important announcements and fliers that go home for parents. My students also use the headphones for the chrome books to listen to stories and to complete online assessments.\r\n\r\nThe students were very shocked and excited when they first saw the materials. I described how we were able to attain the resources and the importance of making sure we value the resources in order to use them correctly as well as maintain them for a very long time.\r\n\r\nMy next project for my classroom is to focus on my hyperactive learners and attain resources for them that would be beneficial to their learning and focus. And that because of their generosity, we got a special delivery today! \r\n\r\nThey were ecstatic and the smiles on their faces made my heart smile. I opened the boxes and shared the different snacks we received. All of them clapped and were so thankful. \r\n\r\nThank you so much to the donors that made this project possible for my students. My students will be able to focus on their learning because their little bellies will be full. \r\n\r\nWe appreciate the time that you took to read about our project and the decide to support us.
