After unboxing they wanted to dig right in and use all the activities.\r\n\r\nFor my Kindergarten group we worked on rhyming with the rhyming sort. They were engaged with the new activity and tried really hard to find the 'house' that rhymed with their card. Though this activity I was able to get a clear picture of who could and could not rhyme. From this we will continue to use the rhyming activity and also add more to help these early readers.\r\n\r\nMy second grade group used the silent-e dominoes as a culminating activity for this phonic skill. They were so thrilled to figure out how the dominos worked. At times I had to stop them from yelling out answers because they were excited to make the domino chain of silent e words. Knowing a skill and being able to use it in reading IS very exciting.","fullyFundedDate":1744132210199,"projectUrl":"project/lets-grow-some-readers/9178770/","projectTitle":"Let's Grow Some Readers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Weaver","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8460631_orig.jpg?crop=969,969,x812,y723&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742485625017","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8460631"},{"teacherId":8460631,"projectId":8892851,"letterContent":"When my kindergarten students got to use the magnetic writing boards they were so excited!
