Your donations have played a vital role in helping so many of our students begin challenging their self confidence by pushing themselves to try new objects, get their body's moving (some for the first time) and interacting with their peers in a creative and collaborative way(also for the first time!) our students have been requesting coming into the sensory room when feeling overstimulated or that they need a break from their classmates which has provided both their teachers and the students with a meaningful and productive way to offer students self-regulation breaks. Being able to provide my students with interesting books on their specific reading levels has made a huge a difference in my classroom. My students have been so motivated to read more books. \r\n\r\nThis past month, our class competed in a school-wide \"March Madness\" reading challenge. My class is majority special-needs or learning disabled, and we are trying to raise money to purchase books that provide all of my students with equal access to arrange of text that they can read on their grade level. \r\n\r\nAs always, thank you again for supporting my classroom and I!
