As we can all remember, being a tween/ teen --they are always hungry! I was so pleased I had the opportunity to help provide them snacks. \r\n\r\nFinally, students from other classes began to find ways to earn snacks. The fee was usually for doing something kind at the school. I saw a lot of kiddos demonstrate kindness and I was happy to reward them. \r\n\r\nThank you again. Students particularly liked all of the fidgets. The favorite ones were the pop-its, although they did not last very long. While using the fidgets, students were more engaged in their learning and were more focused on the math tasks they were working on. The crayons and coloring books have been wonderful for students to engage in quiet activities after finishing their work or finishing a test. The lamps with the color changing light bulbs has helped to create a calm environment in my classroom and has allowed us to keep the overhead lights mostly off.
