It has been a new an exciting experience for students who have never had the opportunity to use these supplies and resources prior to this year. Students were motivated and excited to try something new and show off their completed projects. \r\nPrior to using the materials that were funded, the students took some time to dive into the history of printmaking and analyze art throughout history. The students have enjoyed, creating spelling words and sight words through the use of these wonderful donations. It improves their hand and eye coordination as well as proficiency in spelling and decodable words and sounds. They beg for Play-Doh time and enjoy using all the different colors. we have now began to use these sensory items as unstructured time, and the students have learned to create and use their time wisely.
