Thank you again for being so kind as to contribute to our classroom environment. Having new items in the room that the students can use while working on projects and daily work makes our progress even more attainable. \r\nThe chart paper is something that has made our Math instruction easier. I can draw out visuals for our topics and leave them out for the class to view so they have that resource whenever they need it. We will use it for so many other things, but I love to use large chart paper to organize our thoughts and visuals in Math and make it known what we are doing so they can keep that visual throughout the entire chapter. \r\nThe items for students who fidget are a great resource that students are working for and using in their daily practice. I myself fidget often, so I know that it can keep my mind going forward if I am allowed to quietly and safely move without disrupting others and their progress in learning.\r\nThank you for helping us get these materials. Trying to figure out where to get the money to get materials that some may not understand what will be used for in the room is why Donors Choose and all of you are so incredible wonderful! I don't even know where to begin with saying how happy each of my students were when they got the books. The shock on their faces is something that I will remember for a long time. I had my students look through the book and find their most favorite precepts and what stood out the most to them. I'm going to share a few that they really liked and why. One student wrote that their favorite precept was July 5th. She said that she was very thankful for the book because it encouraged kindness. And kindness is something we all need to give a little more to each other. Another student wrote that having a book to look at precepts everyday while you aren't having the best day gives me a confidence boost and makes my day a little better. Another student wrote I like how it reminds you that you are enough. Sometimes we all need a reminder that we don't need to change ourselves, who we are is enough. I like how the books are like little compliments that you can read each day so you don't feel alone. These are just a few things that students wrote after I gave them their books.\r\nI think that the students having this book will help them out. We did a lot of social emotional learning when reading Wonder. The students put themselves in Auggie's shoes to help them better understand how he must have felt. We had some deep conversations on how we would have treated Auggie and if we would have stepped up if we saw him being bullied.\r\nI think that having the 365 Precepts Book my students will often look over on the day to day to see what they quote is. I also believe that they will look over it when they are having a hard day and they need something to cheer them up. Thank you again to the generous donors.","fullyFundedDate":1734633410250,"projectUrl":"project/mr-brownes-precepts/9000217/","projectTitle":"Mr. Browne's Precepts","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Emery","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9870509_orig.jpg?crop=1560,1560,x93,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750950872021","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9870509"},{"teacherId":9870393,"projectId":9000031,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation!
