The individual seating allows students to focus during independent work, assessments, and direct instruction, while still giving us the flexibility to shift quickly into partner or small-group collaboration. One of our first moments using the tables was during a guided lesson where students independently completed their work and then seamlessly turned to collaborate with peers which is something that was much more difficult with our previous setup.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new tables, they were excited and immediately noticed how much more comfortable and \"grown-up\" the classroom felt. Several students commented on having their own space to work while still being close enough to classmates to ask questions or share ideas. The tables have helped create a calmer, more organized learning environment, which is especially important for students who benefit from structure and clear boundaries.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue using these tables for a variety of lessons, including small-group instruction, collaborative problem-solving, and independent practice across subject areas. The flexibility of the seating allows me to better meet individual learning needs while also encouraging communication and teamwork. Your donation has made a lasting impact on both student engagement and classroom functionality, and we are so grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1764609573955,"projectUrl":"project/table-talk-enhancing-life-skills-throug/9587280/","projectTitle":"Table Talk: Enhancing Life Skills Through Community & Collaboration","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lewis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9574847_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764610771793","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9574847"},{"teacherId":9199614,"projectId":9065719,"letterContent":"On behalf of the students and staff of Carlynton Jr/Sr High School, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation toward the purchase of LEGO Architecture kits for our Architecture and Design classes.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has allowed our students to bring their creativity and design ideas to life in a hands-on, engaging way. These kits provide a tangible way for students to explore architectural principles, structural integrity, and spatial design while developing collaboration and problem-solving skills. Seeing their excitement as they transform an idea into a physical model is truly inspiring, and it would not be possible without your support.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our students are gaining a deeper appreciation for the world of architecture and engineering, and we are building a stronger foundation for future designers, architects, and innovators.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your commitment to supporting STEAM education and helping us create meaningful learning experiences for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1746472390887,"projectUrl":"project/lego-architecture-kits/9065719/","projectTitle":"Lego Architecture Kits","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lutz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9199614"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_88544","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":633,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":90,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":68,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.6,"schoolId":88544,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Carlynton Junior Senior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Carlynton Junior Senior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/carlynton-school-district/carlynton-junior-senior-high-school/88544"}
