My incoming sixth graders feel like they've truly stepped into middle school now. They love the space, the layout, and how grown-up it feels. One student from last year stopped by and jokingly begged me to switch grade levels so they could sit at the new tables!\r\n\r\nRight now, we're diving into our first novel of the year, Esperanza Rising, and the new setup has been perfect for small group discussions, annotation practice, and shared reading. The tables give students room to spread out, talk with partners, and work more comfortably. My students are actively engaged in their learning.
