With the addition of soccer balls, frisbees, jump ropes, volleyballs, and basketballs, students have been actively engaged in various outdoor activities. Utilizing these resources during recess has promoted teamwork and physical fitness. Students were very happy to see new balls in the ball cart. There are now groups of girls and boys who are able to get a football and play together and that didn't happen when there was limited equipment. I have seen other groups of students who usually don't play sports throwing the frisbee or jumping rope. We now have multiple simultaneous soccer games that span the entire parking lot. Moreover, these new resources have strengthened social connections among peers, as students collaborate and bond over shared activities, leading to new friendships and improved teamwork. \r\n\r\nOverall, the online-funded project has not only enriched our lunch recess time but also significantly contributed to the students' physical and social development.
