The students got off to a quick start with forming teams and beginning the reading process this year. They are very excited about the books and are enjoying them. The students are making some nice connections to the texts chosen for the challenge and I have enjoyed discussing the books with the readers. The children are working well together as teams and pushing themselves to creatively solve the task of reading all of the books by the deadline. I am looking forward to our book battles in February. \r\n\r\nI appreciate your support to help foster a love of reading as well as provide an enriching reading challenge for our fourth and fifth grade students.
