Students recently wrote letters for National School Counselor day and they were beyond heartfelt. All of my readers struggle for a variety of reasons. This year I have a group that is focused on foundational reading skills and the letter tiles have been fantastic! They love the magnetic aspect and they are raised enough that they are easier to grip than other letter tiles. My students also benefit greatly from the color-coded vowels. Student have started to leave me word scrambles and take great joy in making sure their words are spelled correctly so they can try to \"stump\" me. I love that they're using a dictionary and looking up spelling words!
