It has truly made a positive impact on our deaf students and our department spirit. \r\n\r\nSince its installation, students have been eager to stop by for a few reps during class transitions and breaks. It's been incredible to see their happy faces and enthusiasm. The station has also created new opportunities for connection- some students who are having a rough time in class often come to my office to cool off, and they find relief and calm through doing pull-ups. It's helping them manage frustration in a healthy, active way. \r\n\r\nI also started a fun leaderboard competition where all students can participate. With the help of special rubber bands attached to the pull-ups bars. everyone- regardless of strength level- has the chance to challenge themselves with a smile. The packages arrived in several shipments. As the packages were delivered to my classroom, the students opened the packages and we discussed how we would use the materials. They were so excited to receive packages with materials that they found out would be for them. They asked who purchased the materials for them and I explained Donors choose and their donors. They are so grateful. \r\n\r\nThe students are now compiling all of their projects and creating a student portfolio on their iPads.
