Primarily it helped scaffold learning for math and reading. It allows us to use rotations and centers to get extra hands on practice of early math and reading skills. The ability to get extra hands on practice that feels like play is critical for learning at this age. We had games and puzzles with all pieces to ensure these kids got full access to learning. Prior to this, we had some puzzles that were missing pieces or breaking.
