They are used with personalized learning, assessments as well as blocking out environmental noise. \r\nStudents with text-to-speech accommodations for their learning disabilities utilize the headphones on their assessments to have a better chance of demonstrating their understanding.\r\n\r\nThe donated headphones are used repeatedly throughout the school year at my campus. We use them with our bilingual/ESL students for TELPAS to assess language proficiency as well as during content district exams to determine mastery of a new school.
