Over the years, color mixing has been on of the most exciting hands-on lessons. Students learn the primary colors and transform the colors into secondary colors. Their reaction is one of awe! They are able to create a color and it is such a wonderful discovery. \r\nAfter their initial experiment with mixing colors, my students go on to explore what they need to add to make the colors the correct hue. They learn about the ratio/amount of paint mixed can over power the color they are mixing.
