They are so much of a staple in the front of the classroom that I'm not sure how we ever did without them. \r\nThe white boards immediately changed the room allowing it to look more complete and feel more like a classroom, while also providing a more productive learning environment. \r\nThe magnetic function helps to quickly place important visuals and posters in a clean organized space so the kids can easily view them. The class utilizes a daily picture schedule on one of the boards and the kids are able to help manage it. \r\nHaving large white boards in the front of the room ensure we have a shared learning space even when the smart board technology lags or is unreliable. Students love to come up to the white boards to share what they know! We received one Bridge Builder Kit and two boxes of Gear Bots by LEGO.\r\n The first time using these kits there were six students present so they were evenly paired up. They were excited to get started. One pair of boys built two kinds of bridges, a draw bridge and a simple suspension bridge. The other two pairs were a girl and a boy each. They worked with the Gear Bots and were attempting the same project. One pair got their item to turn with the crank and they were quite excited with their accomplishment.
