The moment I unveiled the boxes, my classroom buzzed with excitement. Students' eyes lit up as they realized they would not only get to play with the pieces but also design, build, and program their very own creations.\r\n\r\nOne of the first projects we completed was building simple motorized cars. What amazed me most was how quickly students who usually struggle with confidence stepped up as leaders. They offered ideas, tested designs, and even troubleshooted code. During one lesson, a group's car would not move, and instead of giving up, they collaborated to test different wiring and coding solutions until it finally raced across the floor. The entire class erupted in cheers, celebrating that success together.\r\n\r\nThis kit has also opened up opportunities for one of my students with severe autism who has been unable to use some of our more advanced robotics kits. With the LEGO set, he has been able to participate fully, build successfully, and experience the joy of seeing his creations come to life. His smile and sense of accomplishment have been incredible to witness, and it has been a reminder of how important inclusive tools like this are for every learner.\r\n\r\nWe are now moving into more complex challenges where students will design robots to complete specific tasks, such as moving objects or navigating a course. These projects encourage problem-solving, persistence, and creativity, while also fostering teamwork and communication. Every student has a role to play, whether they are building, coding, or brainstorming strategies.\r\n\r\nYour support has given my students the chance to experience the joy of hands-on STEM learning, and it is inspiring to watch them grow more confident as innovators each day. Thank you for believing in their potential and helping me create a classroom where curiosity and creativity thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1755645152032,"projectUrl":"project/future-engineers-lego-robotics-in-actio/9625557/","projectTitle":"Future Engineers: LEGO Robotics in Action","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Leath","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4399676_orig.jpg?crop=452,452,x0,y45&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1628566431347","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/leath"},{"teacherId":1850359,"projectId":9044401,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the materials that were generously donated to our classroom through DonorsChoose.org.
