These items have become a natural and important part of our classroom routine. Students are able to discreetly take what they need, whether it's deodorant, soap, or other essentials, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nOne moment that stood out was when I first introduced the supplies. I simply let students know that these resources were available for anyone who needed them, no questions asked. The sense of relief in the room was immediate. Several students quietly expressed their gratitude, and others began using the items right away. It created an environment where students felt cared for and respected.\r\n\r\nSince then, these products have been used every day. I've noticed a positive shift—not only in students' confidence but also in their ability to stay focused and engaged in class. When students don't have to worry about basic needs, they are better able to participate, collaborate, and take pride in their work.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, my students are continuing to build on this sense of community and support within the classroom. We are focusing on personal responsibility, self-care, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Your donation has helped lay the foundation for these important life skills, allowing students to show up each day ready to learn and succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you for making such a meaningful impact on my students' lives.","fullyFundedDate":1767565375310,"projectUrl":"project/high-school-hygiene-essentials/9700612/","projectTitle":"High School Hygiene Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9643927_orig.jpg?crop=1644,1644,x0,y21&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1767979160139","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9643927"},{"teacherId":9369931,"projectId":9757857,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of snacks and beverages to our class. Your support truly made a difference during our Senior Class Trip of 2026.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, our trip took an unexpected turn when severe winter weather hit and temperatures dropped to -20 degrees. Because of dangerous conditions, our group was snowed in and ha d to remain at the hotel for a large part of the weekend. While this could have been disappointing for students, your thoughtful donation helped turn the situation into a positive and memorable experience.\r\n\r\nWhen the students saw the snacks and beverages that had been reserved for them, their reaction was priceless. It was pure excitement. They were so happy and grateful to have something special to enjoy while we were stuck indoors. The snacks quickly became a highlight of the weekend-students gathered together, shared treats, laughed, and made the best of the blistering cold weather.","fullyFundedDate":1763481779326,"projectUrl":"project/feed-bronx-students/9757857/","projectTitle":"Feed Bronx Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gaynor-Henry","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9369931"},{"teacherId":10274673,"projectId":9747849,"letterContent":"First and formost, I just wanted to thank you for your generous donations to my Lego club. Since launching our LEGO STEM Club, we have grown from a small group of curious builders into a thriving, school-wide community. Each cycle, more students are eager to join, and our club has proudly expanded to welcome members from all grade levels, 9–12. With this growth has come an incredible wave of creativity; students are designing more advanced builds, tackling STEM challenges, and discovering how science, engineering, and problem-solving come to life through hands-on exploration.\r\n\r\nMore importantly, our club has become a safe and inclusive space where all students can feel welcome.\r\n\r\nLEGO builds have sparked new friendships, encouraged meaningful collaboration, and inspired ideas that bridge academic abilities, personalities, and backgrounds. Students who may not have crossed paths in the classroom now work side by side, supporting one another as teammates and innovators. With additional materials, we can continue fostering this positive, student-centered environment and give every participant the chance to build, imagine, and thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1763566763879,"projectUrl":"project/lego-club/9747849/","projectTitle":"LEGO Club","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Ruperto","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/brhslegoclub"},{"teacherId":10337986,"projectId":9868517,"letterContent":"I am so excited to share how your generous donation has made a meaningful difference in the lives of my students. Thanks to your support, our speech and language classroom is now equipped with an exciting array of games and materials that are truly transforming the way we learn. From board games to interactive language tools, these resources have become a cornerstone of our daily lessons, making learning both fun and effective. For example, in a recent activity, students worked together in small groups to use a storytelling game, where they had to build sentences and engage in dialogue. The students' enthusiasm was palpable—some were even asking if we could keep playing after class time was over!\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the reactions from my students were priceless. Many of them come from low-income backgrounds and don't often get the opportunity to engage with such high-quality, interactive learning tools. Seeing their faces light up as they opened the boxes was incredibly rewarding. They immediately began exploring the games, and I could see how excited they were to practice their speech skills in a more relaxed and enjoyable setting.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for being a part of this journey with us. Your contribution is having a lasting impact on these students' lives, and they are already growing in ways we couldn't have imagined without your support.","fullyFundedDate":1762267522157,"projectUrl":"project/games-for-speech-and-language/9868517/","projectTitle":"Games for speech and language","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bronstein","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10337986"},{"teacherId":9643927,"projectId":9224560,"letterContent":"I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your incredibly thoughtful donation of hygiene products to my classroom at Bronx River High School.
