One of the first things I laminated was a set of personalized name tags, and my students were so excited to see their names printed in bright color and \"shiny like a real badge.\" It made them feel important and cared for from the very start.\r\n\r\nYour donation of color printer ink has also made a huge difference. Instead of plain black-and-white materials, I can now print colorful visuals, anchor charts, and learning games that truly capture my students' attention. The new class rug immediately became the heart of our room—it's where we gather for morning meetings, story time, and whole-group lessons. One of my favorite moments so far was watching my students settle onto the rug for the very first time; they all whispered \"Wow!\" and scooted around trying to find their \"favorite spot.\" It has brought a sense of community, comfort, and routine that we truly needed.\r\n\r\nThe hopscotch rug has quickly become a student favorite during transitions and centers. We've woven it into our math warm-ups, movement breaks, and even phonics review. Students hop out sight words, skip-count patterns, and short-vowel sounds. What was once an ordinary corner of the room is now a purposeful, high-energy learning space where movement and academics come together naturally.\r\n\r\nThese new materials have opened the door for more flexible, student-centered instruction. Prior to receiving the new cubbies, I had two students who had to share a cubby because we did not have enough for all of my students. Those students were very excited when they came to school and saw that they now had their very own cubby. They look forward to going into the classroom and seeing a cubby with their name on it just for them. \r\n\r\nMy students screamed with joy when they saw the new cubbies. They were so grateful and gave the teachers hugs. We received so many thank you's from the students. The equipment has enhanced the overall enjoyment of outside play and has promoted exercise for the students. The smaller pieces of equipment are the perfect size for our younger kids and the two bigger pieces are just want the big kids needed. \r\nWhen it was time to go outside for recess the students started screaming with excitement and running from one side of the playground to the other. We have made such progress with our art skills from grades K-5. I have seem so much growth and students thinking outside the box during their art process. We went from students not trustimg their skills \r\nto them trying new things and exploring their own creativity. We have sketched, painted, and crafted wonderdul works of art. We will soon be sharing our artwork with our community at our Art Shown in 2 weeks (the 1st one in 3 years).
