Your support is making a significant impact on the literacy development of my dual-language 5th grade students, and we are beyond excited to put these books to good use.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is an immersive experience. We start with shared read-alouds, where we explore new vocabulary and reflect on what they've read through writing activities, or discussions in both Spanish and English. This bilingual approach not only enhances their literacy skills, but it also strengthens their ability to think critically and express themselves in two languages.\r\n\r\nI have noticed that certain students are especially thrilled with the new books. Every time we come in from recess is an opportunity to dive back into a book that they have chosen in Spanish. Many of the students prefer to read in English, but the books are giving each student an opportunity to engage daily in a book that will strengthen their Spanish and English reading comprehension skills. \r\n\r\nYour support has truly enriched our reading program, and I can't wait to see how these books continue to shape my students' literacy journeys. Thank you for helping foster a love of reading in our classroom, and for being a vital part of their educational experience. Your support has truly made a difference in our learning experience.\r\n\r\nThe moment we unboxed the materials, there was a sense of excitement and curiosity in the room. My students couldn't wait to get their hands on the science kits, and their enthusiasm was contagious. One of the most memorable moments was when we conducted our first experiment using the kits—creating a simple chemical reaction using the materials you provided. The looks on their faces when they saw the substances fizz and change were priceless! It was a moment of pure wonder and a powerful reminder of how important it is to make learning hands-on and interactive.\r\n\r\nThese resources have not only made lessons more engaging, but they've also allowed my students to explore complex scientific concepts in ways they never could before. For example, in our next unit, we will be building simple circuits and exploring how windmills work. Thanks to your donation, we have the right tools to explore the properties of electricity firsthand. The students are working in small groups to design and test their own circuits, and it's been amazing to watch them collaborate, problem-solve, and celebrate their successes together.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has truly brought science to life in our classroom.
