The entire school was tuned in and ready to witness the miracle of life, thanks to the Obsbot Tail Air camera that you all helped me purchase. We are now able to stream the action as it happens, whether it is at night while we are all at home or during school! \r\n\r\nThe most exciting part about the camera is that it will move on its own to track the movement it is recording. My students had fun testing that feature in the classroom in preparation for the hatching. This project not only helped me share our chick hatching with students from home, but it also connected us with the entire community! \r\n\r\nStudents and teachers alike couldn't wait to tell me how they watched a chick hatch from home. Your gifts have made our classroom a more comfortable place to work and all students are greatly benefitted by the addition of cozy seating! \r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when they walked into the room and saw the new bean bag chairs, bungee chairs, and cushions. They frequently can be found curled up reading in the beanbag chair during independent reading or working on writing in the bungee chair with a clipboard. \r\n\r\nThe fourth graders are also learning how to share these new additions and take turns in the comfy spots throughout the classroom. Every morning they come in and pick out a cushion to sit on, discussing who had which cushion the day before.
