The best part is that with the new cleaning cart, all the supplies needed to keep the room clean are easy to reach, and many of my students are willing and eager to help keep our classroom tidy. We are so grateful to have the new tape and tape dispensers, which will really help to reduce waste. My students have also really enjoyed the new fish and shark books, even though we had to push the project back until we can do it before spring break, so the glue has plenty of time to dry out before we can paint the projects. But many of them are enjoying the books and choosing which fish or shark to make with papier-mâché. My special needs students are especially excited for this project because they get to feed our classroom pet fish every day and are eager to make some fish art projects of their own. We were hoping to get the fish made before winter break so we could have some good photos of completed projects, but we didn't have time to squeeze it in. But we are very eager to start the project soon.
