During lunchtime activities, students actively participated in collaborative games and creative projects, which encouraged positive social interaction rather than isolation on their cell phones.\r\nThe paint pens were especially popular during Kindness Week, when students created rock art to share positive messages across campus. Board games were consistently used during lunchtime activities, in classrooms, and during our fall festival, providing students with engaging and inclusive opportunities to connect with their peers. It was rewarding to see students working together, building relationships, and enjoying screen-free activities.\r\nIn addition, the donated headphones have been a valuable classroom resource. Students used them while listening to virtual college tours as part of their college research projects, allowing for focused, individualized learning experiences.\r\nOverall, the donated items have proven to be versatile, sustainable, and impactful. They continue to be used across multiple settings and events and are a wonderful addition to the resources available on our campus. The students are so happy to finally have the tools they need to be able to understand the math content. \r\n\r\nRight now we are using the calculators to convert fractions to decimals. In the next unit, we will be using them to find unit rates of a variety of real life products.
