It allows students to listen to stories read fluently while following along with the text, which strengthens comprehension, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Students can work at their own pace, replay sections as needed, and stay engaged without feeling rushed or left behind.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is the independence and choice the listening center provides. Wearing headphones and using the audio feels special and purposeful, and students are eager for their turn. It transforms reading time into an interactive experience and helps students stay focused, especially those who struggle during traditional read-alouds.\r\n\r\nThis technology has been especially impactful for English learners, developing readers, and students who benefit from auditory support. Many of these students have shown increased confidence and participation, and some now choose listening center activities during free reading time. The listening center has helped them feel successful, capable, and excited about learning.","fullyFundedDate":1769177690111,"projectUrl":"project/help-me-give-students-a-read-along-cente/9766037/","projectTitle":"Help Me Give Students a Read-Along Center for Reading Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Barrios","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7780541_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1647470281803","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7780541"},{"teacherId":7780541,"projectId":9652332,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for making this donation possible.
