Johnson CTE Center. Your donation of sketching tools has brought a noticeable boost to our Intro to CAD classroom as students prepare for their AutoCAD Certified User exam. With your help, students now have quality tools to translate digital concepts into precise technical drawings that strengthen their understanding of spatial geometry and design fundamentals.\r\nSince receiving the new materials, my students have been using them in daily sketching exercises and test prep assignments. One of their upcoming projects includes sketching a helicopter blade or airplane airfoil, where they'll apply real-world engineering principles to their designs. These tools are especially valuable for bridging the gap between manual engineering drawing and computer-aided modeling, allowing students to refine accuracy, proportion, and line technique before transferring their work into AutoCAD.\r\nWhen the students first saw the new supplies, the classroom filled with excitement and genuine smiles. Many said how much easier and more enjoyable it was to create neat and detailed sketches now that they had the proper instruments. These tools have not only improved the quality of their drawings but have also built confidence as they move closer to industry certification. Your generosity has had a positive and lasting impact on their learning experience.","fullyFundedDate":1755712820083,"projectUrl":"project/sketching-tools/9576188/","projectTitle":"Sketching Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Baylor","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7883333"},{"teacherId":7883333,"projectId":9417148,"letterContent":"The generous support from Donors Choose donors had a meaningful impact on Bill R Johnson CTE Center engineering students involved in the Charging the Future project. Their contributions provided students with essential resources, including power supplies, charging towers, and a variety of charging ports and cables for their cellular devices, directly enhancing classroom learning and productivity.\r\n\r\n\r\nWith these new charging stations and accessories, students were able to keep their devices powered during classes and project work, reducing disruptions and ensuring they had consistent access to digital tools for research, design, and communication. This improved both the efficiency and flexibility of classroom activities.\r\n\r\nHaving reliable access to charged devices allowed engineering students to fully engage in their coursework, especially when modeling, conducting digital research, or collaborating on engineering projects. These enhancements made it possible to maximize instructional time and enriched the hands-on learning environment.\r\n\r\nA heartfelt thank you goes to all donors who supported the Charging the Future project. The power supplies, charging towers, ports, and cables you provided have become invaluable to daily student life. Your generosity ensures that every engineering student at Bill R Johnson CTE Center has the tools needed to learn, innovate, and succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1750864723084,"projectUrl":"project/in-charge-of-the-future/9417148/","projectTitle":"In Charge of the Future","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Baylor","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7883333"},{"teacherId":9721540,"projectId":9023628,"letterContent":"My students were so thankful and excited to be able to have the supplies to complete this lab. We had already discussed that it would not be an option to do this lab due to not having the money to buy these supplies. When I received the email that you had funded my class for this project. I was so excited. I couldn't wait to tell my students and they were so happy. They really enjoyed doing their lab and they weee amazed at antibiotic resistance and they couldn't believe the differences that the different antibiotics made on the bacterial samples. Thank you for giving them this opportunity to have this experience and visually see the impact of antibiotic resistance and how different antibiotics work better on specific bacteria. We greatly thank you.","fullyFundedDate":1743091010897,"projectUrl":"project/antibiotics-why-do-they-sometimes-not-w/9023628/","projectTitle":"Antibiotics, Why Do They Sometimes Not Work?","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wheeler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9721540_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752440181702","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9721540"},{"teacherId":9721540,"projectId":9090218,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping my class. We were in great need of cleaning products to ensure that everyone was staying healthy by sanitizing and cleaning every day. My students were so happy to have Lysol wipes to clean desk and to wipe down their Chromebooks. I can't thank you enough for your blessing and choosing my class. It is difficult sometimes to purchase all of these items on my own especially when purchasing so many other items and basic needs for my classes and especially with the large numbers of students. Districts are so very stretched for money now that even basic supplies such as expo markers, pencils, copy paper and glue are no longer available from our campuses. This adds such an expense over the long haul and now to cover Kleenex. Lysol, wipes and sprays it just all adds up. Thank you for your purchases this allowed me to spend more on the basic supplies and needs.","fullyFundedDate":1743010349645,"projectUrl":"project/the-flu-really-bugs-me/9090218/","projectTitle":"The Flu Really Bugs Me","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wheeler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9721540_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752440181702","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9721540"},{"teacherId":9721540,"projectId":8810104,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity.
