They have explored the websites of John Wooden and others to learn from videos, motivational quotes, and John Wooden's \"Pyramid of Success\".\r\n\r\nOne student mentioned that she loves the iPad and how easy it is to use. It's a cross between a laptop/desktop and a cell phone. It made it exciting for her to learn the material I was teaching and she was more focused because of it. A lot of these students are continuation students who are behind in credits and the iPad made them more motivated to learn.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your donation and for your generosity to my students. Students are actively exploring concepts like gravity, magnetism, and density through touch and movement. For example, we recently used the Speks, Fleks, to investigate magnetic fields. Students were fascinated by how the blocks interacted, and their excitement was contagious. This project truly brought abstract scientific concepts to life for our kinesthetic learners.\r\n\r\nWhen the new materials arrived, the students were overjoyed! Their eyes lit up with excitement as they explored the tactile toys, eager to touch, feel, and experiment. The interactive boards captivated their attention, and they were eager to learn and discover. Witnessing their enthusiasm and curiosity ignited a passion for science within them.\r\n\r\nNext Steps:\r\n\r\nWhat I love most about my students is their resilience, eagerness to learn, and the joy they bring into every discovery they make in class. Each student, with their unique learning style, contributes to a dynamic learning environment, continuously teaching me as much as I teach them. Many have thanked my personally for providing them with the opportunity to work quietly and have commented that it has allowed them to better focus, succeed and has reduced the anxiety of coming to school and helped their social/emotional well being. \r\n\r\nBeing a teacher is not an easy job. We do not get the \"extras\" that may other professions enjoy. Having your support of this project made the semester a little better for my students. I appreciate that you took the time to help.\r\n\r\nI hope that this little note of thanks makes your day a little better.
