These items have made a meaningful difference in our students' daily learning and classroom experience.\r\nThe cleaning wipes have had a significant impact on maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. Students use them to clean their desks and hands after projects, activities, and regular class transitions. This ensures that our classroom stays hygienic and organized, allowing students to focus on learning without distractions or concerns about cleanliness.\r\nSome items need replacement so we requested for charging cord and SD card. The charging cord for the iPad has also been invaluable, ensuring that our technology stays powered and ready for use during lessons and activities. This allows students to fully participate in digital learning tools and interactive projects without interruptions.\r\nAlthough we received an SD card for the drone, it was not used because the requested DJI drone was unavailable. Although the DJI drone we originally requested became unavailable, your funding allowed us to pivot and purchase items that have made an immediate and meaningful impact on our students: snacks and essential cleaning supplies.\r\nThe snacks you provided have played a huge role in motivating and supporting our students. They are used as rewards for those who excelled on their Math mastery tests, students who completed their required topics in ALEKS, and those who created the best Desmos projects. These small rewards bring big smiles and help celebrate students' hard work and academic accomplishments. They also serve another important purpose-some of our students come to class hungry, and being able to offer them something to eat helps them focus, feel cared for, and be ready to learn.\r\nThe cleaning supplies have also been a tremendous help. We use them daily to clean desks and hands after projects, activities, and even right after class transitions. This keeps our classroom safe, orderly, and welcoming. With the hands-on math projects and activities we do, having these supplies has made it easier to maintain a clean, healthy environment where learning can thrive.\r\nAdditionally, we received two other, more affordable drones however, they arrived so late in the quarter that we were unable to use them outdoors as originally planned. By the time the drones were delivered, we had already completed the unit where they were meant to be integrated, so they could not be incorporated into the intended lessons. They will be used next school year.\r\nYour generosity directly supports our students' learning, motivation, and well-being. From celebrating their achievements to ensuring a clean space to work in, your contribution has enriched our classroom in ways that truly matter.\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their success.","fullyFundedDate":1746786196934,"projectUrl":"project/drone-math-exploring-algebra-trigonome/9150516/","projectTitle":"Drone Math: Exploring Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus from the Sky","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. J. We used the resources to observe bacterial growth and record changes over time. One memorable moment was when students excitedly compared their observations and realized they were seeing living organisms grow right before their eyes—many said it felt like being \"real scientists.\"\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the excitement in the classroom was immediate. Students were eager to set up the experiments and asked thoughtful questions about safety, accuracy, and what the results might mean. Even students who are usually quiet became actively involved, collaborating with peers and confidently sharing their predictions and findings. The project sparked curiosity and helped build both scientific skills and enthusiasm for learning.\r\nOur next steps include connecting these observations to current lessons on microorganisms, health, and the role of bacteria in everyday life. Students will analyze their data, create short lab reports, and discuss how bacteria can be both helpful and harmful.
