For many students, having a designated place for their work made it easier to find materials and take responsibility for their learning.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue using their folders as a personal learning portfolio throughout the school year. They will add completed activities, lab work, review materials, and assessments as we move into new topics such as levels of organization, anatomical terminology, body systems, and medical terminology. They feel more prepared and capable when solving real-world math problems involving measurements, area, volume, percentages, and construction-related calculations. The calculators have also made hands-on activities more engaging because students can immediately check their work and explore different problem-solving methods.\r\nSome students who previously felt frustrated or discouraged in math have especially benefited from this project. I have seen students who were once hesitant to participate now volunteering answers, helping classmates, and showing pride in completing assignments correctly.
