I am using them mostly for my ELL (English Language Learners) class. Throughout the week, as a class we choose a game we would like to study the instructions. Once we have gone over listening and reading the instructions, and how to set up we as a class will play. \r\n\r\nTwo of their favorites so far have been Pictionary, and Scrabble. Seeing what words and how they draw pictures is so fun and fulfilling. Each of them are growing their vocabulary and it is all through fun learning. When the first knew we were using the games as a resource to learn, the students could not be happier. Each week it is a heated debate on which one to play. \r\n\r\nThe next steps that are going to be taken with this project is continuing to explore each game, and at the very end we will create our own game that the next class can use as a resource.\r\n\r\nThank you so much again for your continued support not only for me but my fellow teachers as well.","fullyFundedDate":1746785428028,"projectUrl":"project/who-wants-to-be-a-game-master/9119023/","projectTitle":"Who Wants to be a Game Master?","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rebel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8844481_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y91&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1675274638904","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-rauterkus"},{"teacherId":8844481,"projectId":8789344,"letterContent":"Getting a school store started for a very first time has been more challenging than I or my students thought. Yes, I know that business are challenging to begin with and this is the learning experience. With your donation to our school store break room, the students have been more willing to put in hours and work harder to make it happen. I have asked the students to stay after school a couple of times to help sort and inventory stock, having access to cold water and snacks, also a place for them to store their snacks has been a life saver. When they first saw our break room start shaping up they got very excited because they are working towards something and getting a small but satisfying reward. When my students first saw the packages coming into the classroom, they were interested in them. However, when they saw it was TECHNOLOGY related, they were the first to lend a hand in setting them up. First, the Bluetooth speaker was a hit, we can now stream videos, and my seventh graders can follow along with their dictation and be able to actually hear what is being said. The portable HDMI is my personal favorite because I can now be mobile with my Laptop while teaching. I was tied to my desk trying to teach from the back of the classroom, now I am able to go anywhere and still be able to project my materials. Finally the projector is perfect and compact, I have been able to set it up in different locations, and be able to present there. I cannot thank you enough for making teaching just a little easier for me, and for my students to see how far technology can take us.","fullyFundedDate":1726174511922,"projectUrl":"project/teaching-technology-while-on-the-move/8648267/","projectTitle":"Teaching Technology While on the Move!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rebel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8844481_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y91&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1675274638904","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-rauterkus"},{"teacherId":8844481,"projectId":8680777,"letterContent":"My students were SO thrilled that our project got funded.
