It is so important for students to be exposed to different types of art and art mediums and this project will help us experiment and create art with several different types of mediums including, crayon, watercolors, colored pencils and oil pastels.\r\n\r\nThis project also provided cardboard boxes that each student received to store their materials. They were able to use the Kwik Stix paint sticks to decorate their boxes and will take them home (along with the supplies) at the end of the year! Students were so excited to learn they would get their own materials and get to keep them. \r\n\r\nWe will be using these materials all school year for many art lessons. My students will get to use them beyond this school year. I believe in the importance of having art in the classroom and in your life.
