The masks, feathers, clay, paint, and other supplies were incredibly helpful in bringing our classroom lessons to life. Your generosity allowed my students to engage hands-on with the rich traditions of African art, and it truly enhanced their learning experience.\r\n\r\nUsing the materials, my students were able to create their own masks while exploring the practices of different African communities. They learned about the cultural significance behind each style and were encouraged to reflect on identity, both within these communities and in their own lives. The process of sculpting, decorating, and painting the masks helped them connect deeply with the lessons, fostering both creativity and cultural understanding.\r\n\r\nThe students were thrilled with the project and often expressed how much they enjoyed class while working on their masks. That's why the donation of snacks—chips, Chex Mix, granola bars, and water bottles—meant so much. As a teacher, I saw firsthand how even a small gesture of care made a big difference. Students lit up when they realized there was something waiting for them—a simple but powerful reminder that someone was thinking of them and rooting for their success. These snacks did more than just curb hunger; they helped create a sense of calm and community in the classroom during a time when students needed it most.\r\n\r\nI can't express enough gratitude for this thoughtful contribution. The donation didn't just support our students' physical needs—it nourished their spirits. It gave them a moment to pause, breathe, and feel cared for. For many, this was the boost they needed to stay focused and push through a challenging day. As a teacher, it meant everything to see our students feel seen and supported. Your generosity rippled far beyond the snack table—it was a real act of kindness, and it made a lasting impact.\r\n\r\n Thank you.","fullyFundedDate":1747846926290,"projectUrl":"project/hungry-hungry-teens/9345838/","projectTitle":"Hungry, Hungry Teens","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Styles","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10032564_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1747017138602","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10032564"},{"teacherId":8426992,"projectId":8931999,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donation to help purchase these constant Velocity cars for my physical science students. These calculators have already made a huge difference in my high school chemistry classroom. Many of my students do not have access to their own calculators, and before this project, they struggled to complete assignments involving chemical equations, stoichiometry, and data analysis. I now have a check-out system, where every student can borrow a calculator for the day and confidently engage in the mathematical side of chemistry—an essential skill in understanding the subject.\r\n\r\nBut your gift was about more than just math. While it's true that students can now work through chemistry problems independently, the impact goes deeper—it's about access and equity. Every student now has the tools they need to participate fully, without the stress of borrowing from a classmate or trying to manage without a calculator at all. Your support has made that possible, and I'm incredibly grateful for the impact it's had on my students' learning and their overall classroom experience.","fullyFundedDate":1736206953628,"projectUrl":"project/calculator-driven-chemistry-numbers-tha/8999081/","projectTitle":"Calculator-Driven Chemistry: Numbers that Spark Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ross","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9869915"},{"teacherId":8337543,"projectId":8517274,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support!
