They took pride in their binders being neatly organized with sections for each class and tabs for every assignment, labeled with the Learning Targerts they addressed. I really believe that this seemingly small change had profound farther reaching effects.\r\n\r\nStudents managed their time better. AFS (Away From School) minutes became precious units, doled out and dedicated to homework, jobs and family responsibilities with balance in mind and graduation a goal.
