The students absolutely love them. \r\n\r\nWe use them mostly in math class. Students can think through problems and erase without wasting time. For the kids, the dry erase markers are more fun to learn with but they do not replace paper and pencil. Students are able ton work through problems first and make easy changes while they are thinking and then transfer their final thoughts to paper. \r\n\r\nThe dry erase system gives my student more support for their thinking and those that hesitate when it comes to math will try harder by using the dry erase markers. The cups came just at the right time. School has been in session for just three weeks. Our building is charming but very old, very hot and, of course, no air conditioning. Now the kids have uniform water cups (with different colored bands and straws) that sit nicely in a caddy at their desks. \r\n\r\nWe no longer have to wait in long lines outside of the classroom for water. Students can fill their water cups in the morning and because of the material of the cup, the water stays cold for the entire morning. Instruction time is not interrupted. We repeat the process for the afternoon.
