We just had our parent teacher conferences, parents were able to see the classroom and all the wonderful additions you all helped support our classroom with. Students have been able to use the headphones almost everyday which they REALLY LOVE. New headphones added a zest to the start of our new year together especially since they were able to choose their favorite color. The district provided headphones do not offer noise cancellation like the new ones have. This helps with allowing students to be less distracted and have optimal focus time. \r\n\r\nStudents were ecstatic anytime we received a new package, we opened everything together. Including the filing cabinet, the whiteboard easel, whiteboard erasers, mailboxes (enough for all 32 students) etc. They realize how helpful your donations helped our classroom as I am starting from scratch this year. The whiteboard easel has wheels and is very useful during lesson plans moving it around the room. Students are able to view it from facing the front of the room to our carpet time during our \"Number Corner\" towards the back of the room near our library. The versatility truly makes a difference. The mailboxes help with sorting student paperwork. The filing cabinet has helped store homework, report cards, assessments, student work, and will serve a great purpose with each new incoming class. \r\n\r\nThe important thing is I have these items to use for years to come all thanks to you!","fullyFundedDate":1725548011430,"projectUrl":"project/first-year/8730960/","projectTitle":"First Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sanchez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9653132_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723526494803","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9653132"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_40057","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":424,"numTeachers":25,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":2,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":95,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"17.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":79.1,"schoolId":40057,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Amesti Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Amesti Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/pajaro-valley-unified-school-district/amesti-elementary-school/40057"}
