Additionally, it allows us to print customized resources to meet the diverse needs of our students, making learning more accessible to everyone.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe most exciting aspect of the new printer is its ability to create bright, colorful projects that capture students' attention and spark their creativity. The printer has truly empowered them to express themselves in new ways, making learning feel more personal and fun.\r\n\r\n\r\nYes, certain students have particularly benefited from this new technology. For example, students with special learning needs have been able to use colorful, customized materials to support their learning. They are using it not only for school assignments but also for extracurricular projects, which has given them an outlet to develop new skills.","fullyFundedDate":1744922883088,"projectUrl":"project/color-printing-for-student-classroom/9118099/","projectTitle":"Color Printing for Student Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. M.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9922791"},{"teacherId":8904094,"projectId":8965839,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your recent donations! \r\n\r\nThe children were excited to have new things to play with. They are learning that words have meaning as they play with the new \"cans\" of food in the kitchen area, and use their fine motor skills to open the lids. When they cannot open them, they are asking for help. With the modeling clay, the children are experimenting using other materials to create unique little projects. One student even laid underneath the table and stretched the modeling clay and watched it stretch in the air. So creative! The children are enjoying the new counting toys: ice cream game and caterpillar counting. They use pom-poms to fill in the \"ice cream\" on the tray. We had to improvise a little bit as the \"ice cream\" balls that came with the game were not age appropriate. The children enjoy stories about caterpillars turning into butterflies, so the counting toy is another engaging activity that they are enjoying putting numbers in numerical order. Many of the students especially like the car ramp toy. They are learning to take turns as well as allow others to use materials they want. They have also experimented with trying to use other materials to see which ones roll down the ramp. Fun is being had by all!!","fullyFundedDate":1733236823625,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-learning-for-students-with-spec/8965839/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Learning for Students With Special Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lewis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/room50alpha-elementary"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_88584","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":703,"numTeachers":30,"percentFrplEligible":89,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":2,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":89,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"23.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":75.0,"schoolId":88584,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Alpha Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Alpha Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/madera-unified-school-district/alpha-elementary-school/88584"}
