Having classrooms stocked with their favorite snacks, means less growling bellies and more focus on schoolwork. Some of our kiddos come to us with food insecurity. School meals don't always satisfy the appetites of hungry high schoolers so having something for them between meals is a great way to keep them engaged and feeling great throughout the day. \r\n\r\nAnother perk of having classroom snacks is the motivation it gives them to earn EXTRA snacks for a job well done. With the new cell phone policy hitting our students hard this year, it helps to give them incentives for putting their phones away and staying focused on their work or classroom discussions.
