It's thanks to generous donors like you that students can thrive and learn. Thanks to your donation my classroom was able to put noise caps on the bottom of all the chairs in our classroom. This might sound trivial but it makes such a huge difference in so many ways. Without the caps our classroom chairs were heavy and loud, scraping every time a student stood up or sat down. This creates a noise that can be difficult for students who have sensory sensitivities, especially when they hear the scraping throughout their day as they're trying to learn. I have several special education students who can become overwhelmed easily by sensory overload/loud sounds. These tennis ball leg protectors have helped to make our classroom a sensory sensitive learning environment where all my students can focus on doing their best learning. Additionally, our custodians work so hard to keep our school looking nice. However, the older classroom chairs often scratch up the floor and undo all the custodian's hard work, so now thanks to you the wax our custodians put on the floor is protected. My students love the chair protector and are able to work, and move freely without worrying.
