They serve as a strong visual aid, allowing me to quickly reinforce note locations by singing solfège (e.g., do, re, mi, fa, sol). For example, when I sing \"re-re-re, sol-sol-sol,\" students can easily identify \"D-D-D\" on the A string and \"G-G-G\" on the E string.\r\n\r\nThe recorder bags have been a wonderful solution for recorders that were previously missing a home (i.e., a proper case). The collapsible wagon has also been a huge help for transporting instruments and equipment to our outdoor stage.\r\n\r\nThe colorful piano stickers have been a terrific visual aid for our keyboards, allowing students to make clear connections with Boomwhackers and desk bells that share the same color scheme. The dance scarves have been especially fun for our youngest students, supporting expressive movement and active listening.\r\n\r\nThe screwdriver set has been incredibly helpful for making necessary woodwind adjustments, such as fixing flute keys and adjusting rods on clarinets and saxophones. Additionally, the synthetic alto saxophone reeds have been a great option for students who are still developing proper reed care, providing extra durability while they play.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your support! Our SpEd teachers and instructional aides are thrilled to see the thoughtful modifications and care put into providing our students with special needs opportunities to be successful and included. These resources have also benefited all students by supporting SEL and building stronger classroom connections.\r\n\r\nThe cloud covers for our fluorescent lights have been a game-changer, creating a calmer and more inviting atmosphere. Our pop-up tent has been a big hit with our little ones, giving them a cozy space where they can still engage with the music lesson.\r\n\r\nAll of our sensory items - sensory mats, letter fidget toys, lava lamps, the Hoberman sphere, stretchy bands, and more - have been wonderful additions to the classroom and are helping students feel less overwhelmed.\r\n\r\nThe instrument modifications have been especially exciting! We've used tennis balls as pick holders for students who want to play string instruments, like our new indestructible ukulele, but need support holding a pick. The silicone grips have helped students hold rhythm sticks more securely, thumbpicks have made playing more accessible, and fuzzy wristbands have allowed us to attach egg shakers for easy use.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for bringing these resources to my students!
