Your support for our new sports equipment has completely transformed our students' lunchtime experience. We are now using a wide array of new items, which has fostered a much more active and inclusive environment. The moment the students first saw the materials, they reacted with pure delight, knowing that there was finally enough equipment for everyone to participate. This abundance solved our biggest issue: limited resources causing many students to stand idle. Now, every day, we see increased energy, teamwork, and engagement. For example, last week, the new flag football set allowed a dozen students who usually don't mix to organize an impromptu league, fostering invaluable social bonds through play.\r\n\r\nThis investment is truly making a difference every single day, turning an often-chaotic break into a positive time for physical and social development. Building on this success, our next step is to empower our students further by launching a \"Recess Leaders\" initiative. This program will train older students to organize and oversee games using the new equipment, teaching them responsibility and leadership skills. Thank you again for giving our students the chance to play, exercise, and build a stronger, happier school community.","fullyFundedDate":1756845463194,"projectUrl":"project/game-on-building-teamwork-through-sport/9625713/","projectTitle":"Game On: Building Teamwork Through Sports","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Paik","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6892971_orig.jpg?crop=750,750,x0,y292&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755719034793","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6892971"},{"teacherId":7786828,"projectId":9457829,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation towards our project \"Taking Care of Student Mental Health.\" When my students first saw the activities and materials, they were so excited to engage in fun activities during one of the most stressful times of the school year. With your help, we were able to have conversations about mental health, self-care, and teach students skills that will help them succeed personally and academically. \r\nAs we enter into a new school year, I hope that we will continue to dedicate time to support student mental health by teaching them skills to overcome challenges and take care of themselves.
