Items like toothbrushes, deodorant, body wipes, hand sanitizer, lip balm, hair ties, and snacks are available whenever a student needs them. These resources have quickly become part of our daily routine and play a vital role in helping students feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. One moment that truly stood out was being able to package up care packages for my students to take home. \r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the supplies, their reactions were immediate and heartfelt. Many were visibly excited and relieved, and several shared how grateful they were to know these items were available without having to ask or feel embarrassed. Having access to basic necessities helped students feel supported, respected, and cared for, which set a positive tone in our classroom right away.\r\n\r\nWith these needs being met, students are now better able to focus on their learning and fully participate in classroom activities. We are currently working on collaborative lessons that involve group discussions, presentations, and hands-on projects.
