When all the packages started being delivered to the classroom, the kids and I were so excited! You would have thought it was Christmas here. One child said, \"You need to show me how to write a grant, I need stuff for home.\" We were so excited and so so grateful.\r\n We use the materials daily to make learning fun. The students especially love moving the magnetic money and base-ten blocks around on the board to answer math questions. They utilize the tens frame fidgets to answer facts quickly on tests. Because of your generosity, all students now have a set of subtraction and addition flashcards at home. The students utilize the supplies during their center work, as manipulatives, and to better understand concepts.\r\n Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing this project to fund. Meeting the needs of so many different types of learners can be challenging, but with the materials provided, I can now meet the needs more easily and make learning fun for the students and me! These materials reminded me to always try to have more hands-on learning opportunities and make the best of each day with my students.","fullyFundedDate":1735614796354,"projectUrl":"project/making-learning-fun/8860659/","projectTitle":"Making Learning Fun","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Santarelli","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9794813_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1728142699351","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9794813"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_83801","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":265,"numTeachers":17,"percentFrplEligible":65,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":80,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 3","studentTeacherRatio":"15.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":62.7,"schoolId":83801,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Adrian Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Adrian Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/ohio/south-euclid-lyndhurst-city-sd/adrian-elementary-school/83801"}
