Your donations made it possible for us to receive headphones, folders, scissors, Expo markers, Post-it easel pads, highlighters, batteries, copy paper, graph paper, construction paper, erasers, blue/red/black pens, whiteboard erasers, and a mini \"I Need Help\" flip chart. These materials have already had a practical and noticeable impact on our daily routines.\r\n\r\nMy students alone speak anywhere between 1–7 different languages, and our school community represents 29 languages total. Many students are still learning English, so having reliable tools has been essential for helping them access grade-level math content.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have made independent digital practice much more effective, especially for multilingual learners who benefit from hearing math vocabulary clearly.\r\n\r\nGraph paper has supported accuracy in graphing and absolute value lessons, which we completed earlier this year.\r\n\r\nConstruction paper, scissors, pens, and folders have helped us maintain organized interactive notebooks for units on multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals, and absolute value.\r\n\r\nThe \"I Need Help\" flip chart has been extremely useful. Students can signal when they're stuck without interrupting the class, allowing me to pull them aside for quick, focused support.\r\n\r\nThe Post-it easel paper has been great for creating anchor charts that stay up throughout the unit for reference.\r\n\r\nThe highlighters have been especially helpful during tests, allowing students to identify key information and break down problems more effectively.\r\n\r\nCurrent Work:\r\nWe are currently in our exponents unit, and the new supplies have helped students complete guided notes, highlight key vocabulary, and stay organized during practice. As we continue building our math word wall, we will soon use the skin-tone paper hands as part of a visual display that represents student identity while showcasing important math terms. Our next step is applying exponent rules to multi-step expressions and assembling a small reference portfolio students can use throughout the year.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving us the tools we need to run a more efficient, supportive, and accessible math classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755974088574,"projectUrl":"project/ms-plair-6th-grade-math/9616672/","projectTitle":"Ms. Plair - 6th Grade Math","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Plair","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10185093"},{"teacherId":5897788,"projectId":9103859,"letterContent":"When I first received the materials for our Fiber Crafts Club, I was teaching at Academy for Entrepreneurship Studies Middle School. Due to unforeseen changes, I wasn't able to launch the club there. However, when I transitioned to Carnahan STEAM Academy, I brought the resources with me, sot that they could still benefit students who were eager to learn and create. \r\n\r\nAt Carnahan, I am now able to provide students with materials they can take home and work on and bring back to school, giving them a freedom of opportunity many have not experienced before. The yarn and materials are also impacting my art classroom. Since I inherited a space with very limited fiber resources, these materials have opened new doors for exploration. Students who have never tried fiber arts before are now weaving, crocheting, and experimenting with creative techniques. \r\n\r\nWe have already begun projects such as hats, bracelets, and bags, and the excitement is growing. My goal is to get even more students involved in fiber arts as the school year progresses. Thanks to your generosity, this vision is becoming a reality. You are helping my students at Carnahan STEAM discover not only the joy of making but also the power of their own creativity.","fullyFundedDate":1741405761444,"projectUrl":"project/fiber-crafts-clubs/9103859/","projectTitle":"Fiber Crafts Clubs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mitchell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5897788"},{"teacherId":2413753,"projectId":9298377,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom.
