They are the most requested seat choice in our class. The wobble stools have been great because the kids could move around while working in their small groups. It has helped students stay focused and be more creative. One student even said that the stools made them feel more awake and ready to share ideas with their group. It was awesome to see them so engaged!\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the wobble stools, they were so excited! They jumped right on them and started wobbling around, giggling and having fun. Some of them even said, \"This is like a magic chair!\" They loved how they could move and still stay focused. It was really fun to watch their faces light up when they realized they could use them in class.\r\n\r\nNext, my students are going to continue working on their informational project about natural hazards. They've been learning about reading strategies and ways to share information that they learned about a specific natural hazard (i.e. tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc). With the wobble stools, they're able to move around, talk to each other, and share ideas more easily. Soon, they'll present their presentations to the another group, and I can tell the wobble stools will help them feel confident while they explain their projects.
