When the toaster oven and bed frame arrived, my students were so excited—they couldn't believe these items were really for us! We've been using the toaster oven to support life skills and independence, like preparing simple meals and learning kitchen safety. The bed frame is also part of our life skills area, helping students practice tasks such as making a bed, folding linens, and organizing a personal space—skills they'll use far beyond the classroom.\r\nTheir reactions were priceless—lots of smiles, curious questions, and even a few students immediately volunteering to help set everything up. Now, we're moving into a unit focused on daily living skills, and these tools are helping us turn lessons into real-world practice. Your donation made that possible. You didn't just give materials—you allowed my students to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
