With this project my students are so excited and appreciated to have a fish tank full of colors and beautiful decorations. Each day they come in the morning to great our fish \"Eagle\". Everyday day they go tot he fish tank and talk to eagle and they like feeding him. Together we like to talk about fish and other ocean species. they are so excited to have a pet in the classroom because a lot of them don't have the opportunity to have one at home. \r\n\r\nThanks to projects like this and people like you all who donate and make our student dream come true with such simple things but that are so important and impactful to them, they can have a better understanding and a better everyday experience while they are in school. My students and I have already put our aquarium to use in our science center. During their choice time, the students have the opportunity to visit the science center and observe our aquarium and our new pet fish, while also having the chance to ask any questions they may have about our pet.\r\n\r\nAt the first sight of our new aquarium, my students were very delighting and full of excitement. There were a few students who even questioned if this aquarium was for our classroom (you can only imaging their faces when they found out we will be new pet owners)! My students were eager to name our pet fish and learn more about them!\r\n\r\nWith being new pet owners, there are a handful of lessons the students will be taught moving forward. They will start to learn what responsibilities pet owners have in order to take care of our beloved fish. Along with this, I'm excited to teach my students more about fish, like the different bodies of water they can live in and the different foods they eat. \r\n\r\nThis is an exciting moment for myself and my students as we continue to learn together on what it takes to take care of our pet fish in their new aquarium!","fullyFundedDate":1762267658401,"projectUrl":"project/splish-splash-need-an-aquarium-to-do-th/9665883/","projectTitle":"Splish Splash!
