On day one of receiving our large box, they inquired about what was inside. I could not wait to show them. They were amazed by how pretty and soft their new kid couch is. Every day since, there has been an active competition over who gets a turn next to sit and work on the couch. \r\nThe couch has not only brought a more aesthetically pleasing atmosphere to our classroom but also encourages positive student behavior. My young students are motivated to stay on task and be on their best behavior in order to keep the privilege of working while sitting on the couch rather than our regular classroom rug or plastic chairs.
