Robert E. Dallos spent his life telling stories. An award winning journalist and narrator of the day's news, Bob reported from around the world for the LA Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and UPI, in many cases capturing history as it was made. Principled and uncompromising, Bob strove to tell every story with accuracy and integrity. Driven by a passion for journalism and an unwavering belief in the essential role it plays, Bob loved to share his knowledge and experience. He taught journalism at NYU and Columbia University and gave his time freely to anyone who needed it. To honor Bob's legacy on the 25th anniversary since his passing, the Robert E. Dallos Fund on Donors Choose is raising $25,000 for classroom projects around the country that reflect Bob's passion for news and politics, his dedication to education, equality and community, and his love for two great American cities, New York and LA. We invite you to join us as we help teachers around the country foster these same principles and ideals in their students with their own class projects and initiatives. hide
