How it works

Know a teacher who hasn’t yet submitted a classroom project? Share your special referral link with them.

2They get matching donations.

Using your link, the teacher you referred submits their first project. We match donations to their project during its first week.

3Get your $25 gift code.

When your teacher buddy submits, you receive a $25 DonorsChoose gift card to use on any project you like — including your own.

Together, we can build a world where every student has the resources and experiences they need to succeed.

The Details

  • Any registered DonorsChoose teacher can refer. To participate, you must have a teacher account on DonorsChoose.
  • For each new teacher you refer (this must be their first time submitting a project on DonorsChoose!), you will receive your $25 DonorsChoose gift code by email when your friend submits that first project.
  • The teachers you recruit must click through your unique referral link to guarantee that you receive your reward.
  • This program will end once all reward funding has been spent out. We will provide you with at least a week’s notice if we release any programmatic changes.
