Zooming into Photography

Help me give my students the supplies to print photos for our photography "business".

My Project

I am excited to be able to start a photgraphy club at my school that will not only teach the skills needed to take beautiful, creative, and memorable photos, but will also be providing these students with the opportunity to gain community service hours.

Students in the photography club will be able to volunteer their time to take photos of high school seniors, community members, at school events, and so much more.

They will be providing a free service to the community while enhancing their skill set in photography. The materials asked for in this project allow the students to make printed copies of their photos for the "clients" while also making a portfolio of their work so they can watch their growth over time. We are asking for a printer, ink, and photo paper to take our "business" to the next level.

The students in the photography club have expressed interest in pursuing a photography business some day and the experiences this project will provide not only teaches them personal financial literacy, but business finances as well. Students will learn about budgeting, comparing prices, smart spending, economics, and so much more.
